Great Exhibition of the North 2018: The Baltic

The Great Exhibition of the North 2018 is a summer of amazing exhibits, inspired technology, vibrant street performance and cutting edge culture in Newcastle and Gateshead.

Family-friendly events connect art, culture, design and innovation. Telling the story of the North of England and using the city as a stage.

Opening with the spectacular 'Get North' weekend, visitors can begin their journey at any of the three iconic hubs - Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art, Sage Gateshead or Great North Museum: Hancock, connected by three trails: the Get North Art Trail, Get North Design Trail and Get North Innovation Trail.

The great exhibition finishes in style with the world famous Great North Run and 'Creating the Future' in September.
