INSIGHTS Public Lectures at Newcastle University: Newcastle University
Description
INSIGHTS Public Lectures at Newcastle University take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 5.30pm. The talks aim to inform, stimulate, entertain, and excite debate. Many of our speakers are leaders in their field and all have something of special interest to convey. Our lectures cover a wide range of disciplines and frequently include key contemporary issues, particularly those that affect our daily lives.
Our current programme includes talks by: Frank Cottrell Boyce, Nicholas Jones, Richard Overy, Sarah Churchwell, Miranda Seymour and many more. All lectures are free and open to all, with spaces allocated on a first-come first-served basis - for more popular talks an overspill room will be in operation.
