The first in a series of Tea Talks is with Whitley Bay based crime writer Ann Cleeves, brought to you by the casting agent behind Vera, NE14.TV who supply hundreds of artists to every series.

Ann is the author of over thirty critically acclaimed novels and was awarded the highest accolade in crime writing, the CWA Diamond Dagger, in 2017. She is the creator of ITV’s Vera and BBC One’s Shetland, which have become international sensations. Ann’s most recent novel The Long Call is the first in a new series set in North Devon, featuring Detective Matthew Venn.
