Are you aged between 13 and 18? Want to explore what you can really do with science? Get down to Science Sessions: Locked Out on Sunday 2nd September 2018 at Centre for Life in Newcastle.
Life’s hands-on sessions for teenagers include a ‘no boring stuff’ guarantee!
Toipics covered in the Science Sessions include coding robots for a mission to Mars, making a bang with particles and pressure, developing DNA fingerprints to find out ‘who dunnit’ and exploring quantum mechanics.
Youi will also have the opportunity to shape what is covered in future events. Whether you take part alone or with friends, you’re guaranteed to meet like-minded people, learn something new and have fun.
Science Sessions run on Sundays, roughly every six weeks, and places must be booked in advance online here. Each session costs £7.50 per person and lasts two hours. They don’t start until 2.30pm, so there’s still time for a lie-in and Sunday Lunch!
