Glasgow-based artist Ruth Ewan’s latest project These Are Our Treasures is on display at the Laing Art Gallery and its an exhibition like no other!

Created in response to the arrival of the Lindisfarne Gospels at the Laing Art Gallery, These Are Our Treasures is an unconventional exhibition that features a plethora of objects that people of the North East hold dear.

Each personal treasure is accompanied by a story told by its keeper that reveals a slice of local hidden history and celebrates the region’s cultural heritage. It’s an exhibition by the people of the North East, and for the people of the North East!
