Head to Alphebetti for a one-person play, 'All White Everything But Me'.
Co-produced and starring North East actress Kemi-Bo Jacobs, this play will be running from Tuesday 14th June to Thursday 7th July.
Inspired by the life of Althea Gibson, who in the 1950s made history by becoming the first ever black grand slam winner after overcoming racial barriers, winning Wimboledon twice. Upon retiring, Althea went on to become a professional golfer and a hollywood actress.
This incredible story, paying tribute to a legend, is definitely worth a visit!
