This Event has passed

Follow a funny and touching story of love, loss and friendship when A Frog Called Woânda is performed on 2nd and 3rd October 2018 at the Alphabetti Theatre in Newcastle.

Laura's mother is ill and she is being looked after by her grandfather. One day, whilst washing her paintbrushes in the bathroom, Laura drops her mother's special ring down the sink. Up pops Woânda the frog who tries to help Laura find the ring.

Their search takes them on a whirwind of twists and turns that combine dreams with reality and laughter with tears. Told through live action, puppetry, music and shadows this is a funny and touching story of love, loss and friendship.
