A passion for food, drink and creating a party atmosphere are the three ingredients that make up Rub.
Rub is a BBQ restaurant with it routes firmly in the South of the USA, taking meat very seriously and using a butchers called Sykes House Farm 'The Chef's Butcher' near Wetherby North Yorkshire. All of the meat is cooked in smokers 'Hank & Marvin' overnight, marinated first with our secret 'Rub' blend of spices. The Brisket & Pork Shoulder is cooked low n slow for around 16 hours.
Rub Smokehouse & Bar have gained a reputation for cooking gargantuan portions, American Barbecue features prominently ‘low n slow’ meats smoked over Hickory from the Deep South of the USA style. Cooking pork shoulders and beef brisket for 16 hours, and rubbed with their secret blend of spices. Add to that the #epicburgers which we create and #epicdesserts including the #kitchensink sundae. One of the latest inventions is the BurShake a burger and beer shake with a waffle burger has created a media furore recently with the best Man v Food time of 4m25s to beat it. If you like large portions this will be the place to be!
