WE'RE GOING ON A BEAR HUNT

There's a bear hunt making it’s way from the West End up to NE1 this February as the smash-hit production of 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt' arrives at Northern Stage. Based on the much-loved picture book by Michael Rosen and Helen Oxenbury, this mischievous play is the perfect treat for family theatre thrills. It’s a musical quest to find a bear and it promises bundles of fun for kids aged three and up!

4 February
Start the week in style with an appearance from English post-punk band, White Lies, as they take to the Boiler Shop stage. Join Harry McVeigh, Charles Cave and Jack Lawrence as they play for a North East audience as part of their UK tour. With support from Boniface, this promises to be a cracking night of music in Newcastle.

Physics-fanatics are in for a treat in NE1 this February, as Professor Paul Davies arrives at the Life Science Centre to share insights from his new book, The Demon in the Machine.
