Calling all film fans! See Get Carter Redux at Tyneside Cinema while you can - an unpredictable and mischievous new take on the Tyneside crime classic. Part of The Redux Project, an ongoing series of low-budget recreations of famous movies.




Canadian singer-songwriter, Tia McGraff, brings her Americana, bluegrass, Celtic and folk sounds to Newcastle Castle. Get yourselves along and dance your Saturday night away.

Get arty

Jane & Louise Wilson is a new arty, video installation at Live Theatre, bringing together cool film footage, songs, interviews and structures about what it means to be Northern, British and living in the UK during Brexit! Love your politics? Get yourselves along!



Future Homes



See an inspiring ‘Future Homes’ exhibit as part of the Get North Innovation Trail this summer. This exciting display at Newcastle Helix, sponsored by Newcastle Building Society, shows people a vision of how we might live in future housing. This unique experience will take visitors on an urban virtual reality journey using iPads. Open daily between 10am - 5.30pm, until 9 September 2018.
