What is the Geordie Jackpot?
The Geordie Jackpot is a weekly lottery brought to you by Newcastle NE1. When you buy a ticket for £1 you will be entered into a draw to win cash prizes. By playing Geordie Jackpot you’ll be helping to support new initiatives for the city centre and local communities, as well as providing support to our nominated charity Cash for Kids.
How do I play?
Simply visit the Geordie Jackpot website (geordiejackpot.co.uk) and click 'buy tickets'. You can pay for tickets by direct debit, credit or debit card.
How much do tickets cost?
Each ticket costs £1 per week. You can buy more than one ticket for each draw. 50p from every £1 ticket you buy will go to support new initiatives for the city centre and local communities, as well as providing support to our nominated charity Cash for Kids.
What prizes can be won?
Match all six numbers in the correct order and you will win £25k! In addition, every week someone will win a guaranteed £1,000! Players can also look forward to regular bonus prizes. Recent Geordie Jackpot winners have jetted off to Dubai with return Emirates flights, enjoyed a three-night DFDS mini cruise to Amsterdam and have taken part in various VIP Newcastle experiences.
Where does the money go?
The Geordie Jackpot is a not-for-profit lottery, as such the revenue from each ticket is split between 50% going to pay for projects within the city centre and to our chosen charity, Cash for Kids, while the rest of the money covers the prize fund and the costs of running the lottery.
